OpenGov — Product Designer

I'm designing products that empower civil servants to better serve while helping people get more engaged with the day to day workings of their local government.


Opower — UX Designer

(Opower was acquired by Oracle Utilities)

June 2015 - October 2017, San Francisco

I work with the Opower team to design products for our clients that help utility customers understand how their energy use affects their costs.

  • Lead UX designer for two $80+ million projects for Exelon and PG&E, delivering new products and services to around 12 million households.

  • Spearheaded the complete redesign of several core Opower products.

  • Led design of multiple products and services that help Californians understand their energy rate plans, a vital goal of the CPUC Rate Reform.


Jawbone — UX Designer/Videographer Intern

May 2014 - September 2014, San Francisco

I specialized in the use of video and motion graphics to illustrate and conceptualize concepts, prototypes and flows for the Jawbone UP band.


Hylo — UX Design Contractor

December 2013 - December 2014, San Francisco

Led design efforts to build out Hylo's core functionality.


Dubberly Design Office (DDO) — UX Design Intern

May 2013 - September 2013, San Francisco

Under Hugh Dubberly, I worked directly on a number projects with a variety of clients including Amazon, CNN Digital, Phytel, Zite and Patagonia. My assignments included system mapping and modeling, presentation preparation, writing, UI design, spec-ing, design strategy and research.
